More in water but closer to pitch
He starts his day at 5 a.m. He spends the total of 22 hours per week in the swimming pool. He also practices football three times a week. Mateusz Osełkowski can say that the pitch and pool are his second homes.
The story of Mateusz is an example that the obstacles we have to face should not be a hindrance to us. This talented swimmer and football player has suffered from diabetes since the age of 6.
Despite the adversities, he does not lose his passion for training. His regular work, self-control, and discipline help him not only in fighting the disease, but in succeeding both in water and on the pitch.
